Rohingya Ethnic Crisis Allegedly Seize the Potential of Natural Resources

Youth and Community Coalition Pro NKRI (KPMP NKRI) assess Rohingya ethnic crisis in Rakhine Province, Myanmar allegedly based on the seizure of the potential of natural resources.

"The conflict over resources is the main factor, while the religious issue is used as an entrance to disturb and heat the situation," said Coordinator KPMP NKRI Ach. Adnan told reporters in Jakarta, Thursday (7/9).

According to him, Buddhists in Indonesia and even around the world also condemned the violence carried out by the Myanmar military against the Rohingya Muslims.

The Indonesian government's move to send Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi to the Burmese government by asking for an immediate end to violence should be appreciated.

In addition to meeting the government of Bangladesh related to handling Rohingya refugees in the country. "The government's move is a very concrete form of concrete support to end the violence in Myanmar," he said.
